English: Universal Preservation Hall, located at 25 Washington Street in Saratoga Springs, New York was built in 1871 as the First Methodist Episcopal Church, which was designed by Elbridge Boyden in the High Victorian Gothic style. It was sold to the Universal Baptist Church in 1976. The church fell into disrepair and was condemned in 2000. A volunteer rescue effort – helped by a strategic alliance with Proctors Collaborative of Schenectady, New York begin in 2015 – began in 2018 to turn the church into a performance venue which hosted its first public event in 2020.
